The IT-Designers Group is a software development consortium based in Esslingen. A team of around 100 people develops technically challenging, tailor-made solutions for the specific needs of renowned customers in the automotive industry and automation technology, as well as for leading high-tech companies in the Stuttgart region.
Where We Come From
The IT-Designers Group is now an association of two companies: STZ-Softwaretechnik and IT-Designers GmbH. The foundation for the IT-Designers Group was laid by Prof. Dr. Joachim Goll. In 1994, he founded the Steinbeis Transferzentrum Softwaretechnik—a company belonging to the Steinbeis Network.

Our core competence lies in the field of customized software development. We deal with methods, technology, programming, architectures, and tools.
Our activities are focused on the greater Stuttgart area. Here, we implement technically challenging and varied projects for well-known companies, primarily in the automotive, automation technology, logistics, telecommunications, high-tech and finance sectors.
